Dave Mygind is working as a creative director at Havas London. He's gathered experience going through every stage: starting as an intern and earning no money for a few months just to get let go from the agency. "It's just a part of the learning process" he says.
After rather rough start he got a job as junior creative at Saatchi&Saatchi in Australia and started his career for good, to eventually land in Havas London.
For Dave, it is essential to always have a notebook or telephone by hand to write down even the most stupid ideas. As he mentions "it might not mean anything at the time but when you look at it later it might spare something else".
For us he breaks down the process of cooperation between the director and the advertising agency and share a few more thoughts on what it is most important when proceeding with the career of a director.
